MPJ TS HQ Meeting Highlights: Addressing Socio-Political Affairs, Raising Common issues such as TMRIES, Minority loans, and Empowering Women

On June 14, 2023, a meeting was held at MPJTS HQ in Puranihaveli, Hyderabad. The meeting, chaired by Mohammad Abdul Aziz, State President of MPJTS, and convened by Mr. Saleem Alhindi, GS, was attended by Mr. Ilyas Khan (Kurutla), Mr. Ahmed Shakeel (Treasurer), and Mr. Shaik Khasim (Joint Secretary). The session focused on various socio-political issues, particularly the awareness campaign regarding electoral enrollment. MPJ Telangana, a non-political movement, serves as a grassroots organization and pressure group, raising common issues such as the educational and residential shortcomings of Telangana Minorities Residential Schools (TMRS) and the lack of beneficiaries in minority loans, despite a government-sanctioned 50 crore allocation that appears to be merely symbolic. This has generated a sense of discomfort and disgrace among the general public and Muslim minorities in particular, emphasizing the need for attention from the government, especially with regard to voters.

During the executive meeting, Mrs. Fareesa Qadri (VP), Mrs. Parveen Sultana (Women Wing In-Charge), and Mrs. Khadijah Mahveen (Executive Member) discussed the significance and empowerment of women in various spheres of society. They expressed concern over the ignorance and negligence of women’s issues by authorities and government agencies, highlighting the need for positive and proactive trends in addressing these matters.
